Tekkeya
Brand, bilingual website and a custom reservation system for a plant-based eatery on Heissa Island, reached by boat. The owner runs every booking from his phone.

The old website had gone offline and every booking arrived as a phone call or a WhatsApp message. The owner wanted no prices (guests pay what they want), no fixed menu, and a way to manage two sittings a day without a back office.

A brand from the island
A bowl with leaves under a rising sun, in terracotta and cream, with Arabic and English lockups.
- 02
A site that feels like the place
An illustrated Nile sunset, the kitchen’s story, and no prices or menu, exactly as the owner wanted.

Bookings without a back office
Guests pick a day, a sitting and a party size. Capacity, notice and the season are enforced for him.

Replies in one tap
Every request pings his phone. One tap confirms it and opens WhatsApp with the reply already written.
Arabic and English, equally
Two complete sites from one source. The Arabic version reads right to left, and it can’t go live with a missing translation.

Ask for a table
A day, a sitting (lunch or candle-lit supper), an arrival hour and a party size. It’s a request, not a checkout: the owner confirms each one himself.

The kitchen, in its own words
No menu, plant-based, made to order, nothing wasted. The site tells the story the way the owner tells it at the table.

The island, as guests see it

One button replaces the back office
When a request comes in, the owner taps Confirm & message. The booking is saved, and WhatsApp opens with a reply written in English or Arabic, whichever the guest booked in.
